            There is no discount for a partial day’s rental.

 

All building rentals must be under the supervision of a club member.  The member will be responsible for the conduct at the club, clean-up, and removal of all excess garbage.  All equipment will be cleaned and put away.

 

The club will supply bathroom supplies, cleaning supplies, stove and one refrigerator in the kitchen, and one refrigerator in the bar.

 

Caretaker (or delegate) will open and close the premises.  They (along with the renter) will inspect the condition of the facility.

 

Deposit will be refunded shortly after the event.  Any extra cleanup required will be deducted from the deposit at a rate of $25 per hour.

 

All ranges will be closed and vacated one hour prior to the hall rental time.

 

Access for set-up may be arranged through the caretaker.

 

Range rental time is 0800-1700 hours (8:00am-5:00pm) unless otherwise stated on the calendar.  These hours include cleanup time.

 

The classroom may be rented for training while range is in use provided it does not restrict the range use or cause a safety concern.  All efforts will be made by both members and renters to co-operate and make multi-use workable with the least amount of disruption to both parties.

 

Range rental fees are based on a minimum of 2 months notice of the rental.  (An absolute minimum of 10 days notice is required for any booking.)  There is a non-refundable charge of $50 for less than 2 months notice.  There is a non-refundable charge of $150 for less than 1 month notice.  For example: If a member books the pistol range with 12 days notice the fee will be $500.  ($350 + $150)

 

Government organizations that book the range more than twice a year do not have to pay a deposit and will be sent an invoice for range rentals.  All other booking requires the deposit and rental payment (including short-notice fee) in advance to reserve the booking.

 

Unless given special approval by members, only one range may be booked at a time. (So club members always have a range to use.)  Ranges may only be booked for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.   Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Statutory Holidays are reserved for club member use or club events.  Rentals are not available during club executive and general meetings.

 

Refunds will be given for booking cancellations.  For more than 2 months notice of cancellation a full refund will be given minus a $50 administration fee.  For less than 2 months notice the fee will be $100 and for less than 1 month notice the fee will be $150.  Booking cancellations less than 10 days notice will not be refunded.

 

If alcohol is to be consumed at a rental event, a licenced member's name and number must be provided on the application.  This individual must supervise the event.  The sponsoring member must also attend the event.  Food Safe (L) required for bar use and Food Safe for kitchen use.
